HHS Teacher Paula Ohaus Wins National Award
The NJ Star Ledger recently reported that Paula Ohaus, a Hoboken High school drama teacher, was chosen from drama teachers across the country to receive the first National High School Musical Theater Award for Outstanding Arts Educator. The award, accompanied by a 5,000 prize, was presented at NYU's Skirball Center during the Jimmy Awards ceremony.

Interim Superintendent
Hoboken, a richly diverse community located in Hudson County, seeks an
experienced educational leader to serve as Interim Superintendent of Schools
while the Board conducts a search for a permanent Superintendent. Our two high
schools, and three k-8 schools serve 1900 students with a budget of $59 million.
Candidates must possess a NJ School Administrator Certificate and have a
demonstrated record of success as a superintendent. Pre-K-12 experience
preferred. Experience in an urban setting and Abbott districts a plus.

Hoboken High School and Demarest High School held their 2009 graduation exercises at JFK Stadium on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
