Connors School will present the New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS), whose string ensemble SINFONIA will perform a teaching concert emphasizing participation and interaction among conductor, orchestra and students.

Hoboken High School will be sponsoring a blood drive on April 30.  Donors must be at least 17 years of age and must present a photo ID and will be asked for their social security number.   All members of the Hoboken community are invited to participate.  For more information on donating blood, please click on http://www.bloodnj.org//can_i_donate.htm.

Tuesday April 29 is Ben and Jerry's Free Cone Day for students and staff of the Hoboken Public Schools between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. at the Hoboken Ben and Jerry's store, 405 Washington Street.  The Hoboken band will perform and student artwork will be on display. Hoboken school principals will be there as guest scoopers for the event.
